Create a learning plan

Learning plans let you specify the order of the learning flow for your users. To create a new learning plan:

  1. In the Control Panel (Admin View), click Learning plans.
  2. On the Learning plans page, click Add
  3. On the Create tab, select Create new learning plan. If you want to create a learning plan based on an existing one, choose Build from existing plan
  4. On the Basic tab, enter a name and a description for your learning plan. This is also where can specify the estimated time needed to complete the learning plan and assign it to a specific category. Click Next.
  5. On the Design tab, specify how you want the learning plan to be displayed. Click Next.
  6. On the Advanced settings tab, you can setup the privacy settings of your learning plan. For example, you can choose whether the enrollment access is Open or Restricted and specify its editing access in the Control Panel so that it's either hidden or editable. This is also where you can issue a certificate to your users when they have completed the learning plan. Along with certificates, users can also earn kudos points they can convert to a specific price. 

    Note
    A completed learning plan can only be displayed as completed in statistics if you select Mandatory in the Tracking dropdown. 
  7. Click Finish. You can now add a learning objective to your new learning plan. Use phase map to add containers and structure learning goal patterns. See related article for the step-by-step guide on how to create learning plan phases.
