To reset an existing user’s password:
In the
Control Panel
, click
Users and groups
,
Users
.
On the line of the relevant user, click
Reset password.
Enter the new password and confirm it. To let users change their password on next login, select the
Change password on next login
checkbox, and then click
Reset
.
Change password on next login – enable this button to send users a prompt requiring them to change their password on their next login.
Notify user about password change – enable this button to send a notification email about the user’s password change.
Email sign-in info to the user – enable this button to send the user his or her new login credentials.
Email sign-in info to me – enable this button to send the admin or manager a copy of the user’s new login credentials.
