Validate an employee's learning objectives

Each course consists of two parts:

  • A theoretical online course with videos and exercises 
  • A practical test set by the relevant manager

When your employee completes the first, theoretical part of a course, their overview page displays an outlined star  next to the relevant course and you (as their manager) are notified that they are ready to take the practical test. When your employee has taken the test, you must validate this and when you have, their overview page will display a full star to show that they have successfully completed the course. 

To approve the completion of a course for an employee:

  1. Log in to the Retail Academy site, and on the right, click the Admin view  icon.   
     
  2. In Reporting mode, click the Manager's dashboard tile.  


  3. On the line of the relevant objective, click Validate/Reject
  4. On the Validate page, click Save and mark as completed.
