The Full Admin view

The Full Admin view is where you have access to the full platform settings. You can access it from the client, The Home page shows a dashboard for an easy overview, with a menu bar on the top from where you can specify the domain and course, and on the left the menu, you can access the relevant settings for your courses and domains. 

 

The following sections give an overview of all the settings available from the Full Admin view. For more details about the different features and settings, see the other articles on this site.

Content Editing

Content Explorer

Use the Content Explorer to create and edit your courses. To create a course, you first create the course structure and then you add the assets that define the content that you add. You create the course structure from the top node by either adding new slides or new folders. Slides are the containers for your pages and contain the assets and content in the layout that you have specified in the templates. A folder is a collection of multiple slides that you use to organize your course content.

You can add content and preview your slides by right-clicking and choosing either Go to Slide Editor or Preview Item

Slide Searcher

The Slide Searcher allows you to look for specific slides in the course of the current domain. By using the Search pane, you can specify the slide type and the course that it belongs to. You can filter search results using the Filter fields on the right.

Question Pool

The Question Pool lets you create questions and answers, and edit them. A tree view showing the categories is displayed on the left. You can select a question from the list to edit or preview it, and you can create new questions by clicking Add New and choose a question type.

Course Admin

Course Editor

The Course Editor lets you create, view, and edit details of a course. 

Course Users

The Course Users page displays the list of all users on a specific course. Select a name in the list to view all the details about the selected user and select the Show other details check box to display the additional information about the course progress for that user. 

Click a username to open the User Editor for that user.

Import course

The Import Course page lets you import exported courses, offline courses, or course packages.

Export course

The Export Course page lets you export your courses into offline course packages. For example, if you want to copy a course from another domain.

Select a specific course available in the domain in the Select Course dropdown list.

Statistics

The Portal statistics dashboard accessed from the Light interface gives you a complete overview of the statistics for your domain. You can click any of the charts to drill down for more specific results. Additional Filter fields enable you to be very targeted on the type of report you want to generate. Any of these views can be exported to an Excel spreadsheet.

Course statistics

The Course Statistics page displays all the statistical values and usage history for a course. 

You can email or export the course statistics in an Excel or CSV file.

Assessment Statistics

The Assessment Statistics page displays assessments and average scores for assessments based on the course you are viewing. You can view statistics for all users or individual users and you can view Scoreboards of the data logged in the assessments. You can export the assessment statistics in an Excel or CSV file.

Course Participants

The Course Participants page lets you view and modify status logs for course participants. You can group, sort and filter the information in the course participants list and you can export the list in Excel file.

Survey statistics

The Survey statistics page shows a record with a summary for each survey on a course including the title and questions, answers and users who took part in the survey. You can see more details by clicking the Title. 

You can download a CSV file or a XML file for each survey containing a log file with all the values registered for each survey.

Online statistics

The Online Statistical page lets you manage and select the courses and assessments that you want to generate a report from. Additionally, this page provides additional options and settings on the tabs.

Reporting Center Admin

Use this page to to generate and download a wide range of reports with statistics on assessments, user usage, courses, domains, and groups.

Conference statistics

The Conference Statistics page displays all available users and their basic information including the number of posts and viewed thread by each user.

Domain Admin

Users

The Users page displays the list of all users in a domain. Users can be set up to access the system in different ways:

  • Through synchronization with other systems, for example, a payroll system.
  • Multiple users can be imported from a CSV file (Excel) with all relevant data.
  • Single users can be manually entered.
  • A self-registration solution can be set up so that the user registers themselves with the required information.

Select a name in the list to view all the details about the selected user and select the Show other details check box to display the additional information about the course progress for that user. 

Click a the username to enter the User Editor.

To make synchronization easier, users are again sorted into groups, for example. following roles in the organization. Groups are either associated with synchronization or import of users, but it is also possible to create groups manually.

Course contents are again made available to the different groups in the system. How this is done appears in the Quick Guides section.
Regardless of where the user is working, there will be a common login page. In Learning Center, all roles have the same login and basically come to the same pages. The login page also contains a Forgotten Password? Function. After logging in, the user will come to a page based on who the user is.
Flexibility in Learning Center allows for an interface tailored to the client's wishes.

Organization

The Organization page shows the domain user's hierarchy. For example, administrators can see the users that they are managing under them in the tree view.

Courses

The Courses page displays the list of courses. You can click a course title to go the Course Editor where you can view and edit details of the course. Use the filter fields on the left to search for a particular course. 

Groups

The Groups page contains all the user groups for the current Domain. The list on the left contains the title and the number of users who are members of the group. The Group type can either be system generated or a custom type. System groups are automatically maintained by the system. The system groups are named the same as the course they represent followed by "_users"and contains all users who are members of the course. The custom groups are groups created by administrators.

Click a group to open the Group Editor.

Orders

The Orders page specifies and contains all the orders processed in a specific domain. You can search and view information about the status of an order and create new orders for enrollments.

Course Groups

The Course Groups page lets you group courses, for example, you can group online courses  together or you can group courses according to a common subject.

Certificate Admin

On the Certificate Template Administration page, you can manage certificate templates available in the domain. These templates are used to create and categorize certificates issued at the end of an exam, a question pool, a course, and so on.

Domain Settings

On the Domain settings page, you have access to all the settings you need to set up a domain, such as the assets that you want made available, user rights and security settings. 

Domain Explorer

The Domain Explorer page provides an overview of your domains, subdomains and courses under each domain.

 

Wizards

The Wizards section of the Admin view provides guided setup assistance to help you through the steps of setting up enrollments, groups, users, courses, domains, and messaging.

Resources

News

The News page displays the list of available news channels. These news channels enable course providers to create and add bulletin information related to a course.

My Documents Client Admin

The My Documents Client Admin page manages all the existing documents created by users for during a course.

Downloads Admin

The Downloads Admin page serves as a file manager. It allows you to manage documents that are downloadable for a course. Additionally, download items can be linked to other resources.

Custom Calendar Channels Admin

The Custom calendar Channels Admin page lets you create and define a custom calendar channel which enables the user to add events for the selected calendar channels.

Calendar Resources Admin 

The Calendar Resources Admin page lets you add or modify calendar resources, for example, a meeting room or a projector, for a course. The list shows whether the calendar resource allows simultaneous bookings and multiple bookings on one event.

Dictionary Admin

The Dictionary Admin page displays the available word list items and their definitions for the course. These dictionary items are also created and set with complete details in the items list, where you can specify that the dictionary item is created with an image, sound and language.

Course Offline Activity

The Course Offline Activity page displays all offline activities for the course. It shows the Slide and Competence Titles, and the total number of users assigned to the offline activity. You can click view the users for a selected offline activity. Also, you will be able to edit or delete the specific user.

ICS Handler Link Generator

On the ICS Handler Link Generator page, you can generate a URL to create a calendar schedule or invite.

Offline Course

On the Offline course page you can see an impersonated view of your user account with your privileges (No admin pages will be available in the offline course) when created.

Layout

Skin Admin

The Skin Admin page displays the available skins that you can assign to a course. You can edit an existing skin or create new ones on this page. The list shows details about the skin such as when it was modified, its creator, and the number of times the skin has been used in the domain.

Templates Admin

The Templates Admin page is where you create your templates for slides/web pages. 

Curriculum Admin

On the Curriculum Admin page, you have access to all the settings you need to set up a curriculum. From here you can set up the components of your curriculum: 

  • Learning Plans
  • Learning Objectives
  • KPIs
  • Learner Profiles
  • Shared Courses
  • Kudos

Product Shop Admin

Shop Admin

On the Shop Admin page, you can see all your shops and their products. You can display the shop and corresponding products when you add the Product and Shop asset to a slide.

Shop Orders Admin

On the Shop Orders Admin page, you can see a list of all shop orders that have been created for your domain. Orders are created when a customer places an order on your web page.

Customer Admin

Customers

The Customers page contains a list of all customer registered on this solution. You can edit information and module access or add a new customer to the solution.

Role Admin

The Role Administration page displays a list of the rights assigned to the default roles set up for the different user profiles. The default roles are:

  • Administrator
  • Manager
  • Course Editor
  • User

You can assign permissions for roles by selecting the relevant checkboxes but remember that every user should only have the permissions required for that specified user. You can also create new roles for a specific type of user.

Back to Client

Click to leave the Full Admin view and access the Control Panel.
